Due to a surge in attendance we are holding the Australia day BBQ at the Putney Park this year. If the weather holds up we are expecting to have a big turnout on the day.
There are lot of kids activity options at Putney park. Please bring you friends and family. And wear that fancy shirt/hat!!
Anyone interested in fishing that day? There are excellent fishing spots nearby (original Putney park fishing shot on the right). So the fish can go straight to the BBQ (fun!!)
So far on the menu:
Lots of Chicken (different varieties)
Lamb chops
Chicken + Lamb sausages
Various pasta salads
BBQed Corn/vegies
Whole fish
Fresh salads
Potato Bake (need volunteer)
Soft drinks (coke/pepsi diet/regular/zero cans, ginger ale etc.)
Fruit salad/Fresh Fruits? (more needed)
Desserts
Unfortunately, alcohol is not allowed at the park.
There is ample parking at the park.
Any suggestion for the day?
PS. I am still looking for volunteers on the 26th morning.
